PILLING BENTONITE

Foundation Grade

Pilling Bentonite

Aishwarya Mine Chem supplies premium pilling bentonite specifically formulated for deep foundation construction and pile drilling operations. Our pilling grade bentonite provides exceptional viscosity control, wall stability, and filtration properties essential for successful bored pile construction projects across diverse soil conditions.

Pilling Bentonite

Overview

Pilling bentonite is a specialized drilling mud additive used in deep foundation construction, particularly for bored pile and diaphragm wall installations. Our pilling grade bentonite creates a stable, thixotropic drilling fluid that supports excavation walls, carries drill cuttings to surface, and forms an impermeable filter cake to prevent soil collapse during concrete placement.

Key Performance Features

  • Excellent viscosity development for enhanced wall stability and cutting suspension
  • Superior thixotropic properties enabling easy circulation and effective support
  • Low filtration loss preventing excessive mud penetration into surrounding soil
  • Optimal gel strength providing stable borehole conditions during construction breaks
  • Compatible with various soil types including clay, sand, gravel, and mixed formations

Construction Applications

Our pilling bentonite is engineered for demanding foundation projects:

  • Bored Pile Construction: Large diameter piles for bridges, high-rise buildings, and infrastructure
  • Diaphragm Wall Systems: Continuous underground walls for basements and retaining structures
  • Secant Pile Walls: Overlapping pile systems for deep excavation support
  • Foundation Drilling: General deep foundation work in challenging soil conditions
  • Slurry Wall Construction: Barrier walls for environmental containment projects

Mixing & Application Guidelines

Typical mixing concentration ranges from 40-80 kg of bentonite per cubic meter of water, depending on soil conditions and project requirements. Pre-hydration for 12-24 hours ensures optimal performance. Our technical team provides site-specific mixing recommendations and quality control support throughout your project.

Quality Assurance & Support

Every batch undergoes comprehensive testing including viscosity, gel strength, filtration loss, and pH analysis. We provide detailed technical data sheets, on-site technical support, and custom formulations for specific geological conditions. Regular quality monitoring ensures consistent performance throughout your construction project.
